Munster Rugby driving sustainability success with Kearys Motor Group electric vehicles

Munster Rugby has published its new Environmental Impact & Sustainability report which highlights its ongoing work in the area of environmental sustainability and climate action.

Chief among the initiatives that Munster Rugby is implementing to become an established leader in climate action in Ireland and in rugby worldwide, is in the impressive transition of its vehicle fleet to electric vehicles with Kearys Motor Group.

The report highlights that an impressive 73% of the vehicles in the Munster Rugby Fleet are now electric vehicles. Kearys Motor Group as proud partners, has provided 26 vehicles to Munster Rugby for its fleet, 19 of which are all-electric vehicles, helping to cut emissions and support Munster Rugby’s sustainability ambitions going forward.

By 2030, Munster Rugby plans to transition its vehicle fleet to full electric, with an advanced electric vehicle charging infrastructure and also powering its generators with HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil).
