Kearys Motor Group is proud to be the title sponsors of the St Joseph’s Foundation, Charleville Better Life Cycle 2024, taking place on Saturday 1st June 2024. This is the 10th Anniversary of the charity cycle, that benefits children and young adults with disabilities and their families in the Charleville area.

Entitled ‘The Comeragh Cruise,’ there are two routes, both starting and finishing in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary: The Blue route is 180km and goes via Carrick-on-Suir, Kilmacthomas (with refreshments), Dungarvan, Cappoquin, the Vee, Clogheen and Ardfinnan. The Red route of 85km leaves Clonmel and goes via Ballymacarbry and joins the red route at Cappoquin where there is a refreshment stop, organised by volunteers, before the finish line back in Clonmel.

“Over the past 9 years, €442,500 has been raised for St. Joseph’s Foundation and this - our anniversary year - has a huge target of €57,500. We hope that a massive total of €500,000 will be raised over ten years,” explained John Walsh, Chairperson, Better Life Cycle Committee.

“On behalf of the committee, volunteers and all families who benefit from the Better Life Cycle, we would like to thank Kearys Motor Group for this sponsorship and all our sponsors, local businesses and participants, who are actively fundraising for the big event on 1st June, as every cent goes directly to St. Joseph’s Foundation,” he added.

“Kearys Motor Group have supported the Better Life Cycle since it started in 2014, ten years ago. This year we are delighted to go a little further, to help St. Joseph’s Foundation reach their ambitious target. We wish all the participants, including some of our Kearys staff, volunteers and supporters every good wish for a hugely successful event,” said Brendan Keary, CEO, Kearys Motor Group.

The Better Life Cycle has enhanced the running of St. Joseph’s Foundation and contributed hugely to a considerably better lifestyle for the children and adults who attend St. Joseph’s Foundation services. These include early years resources, progressing disability services, pre-school and home supports as well as specialist autism services. (see www.sjf.ie)
