Kearys Motor Group Launches Year Two of Cork Camogie Sponsorship with a Private Motivation Session with Keith Barry

Kearys Motor Group launched their second season as title sponsors of Cork Camogie, one of the largest sponsorships in women’s sport.

The launch took place at Pairc Ui Chaoimh with a private coaching and motivational session for the Senior and Intermediate squads with mentalist and brain hacker, Keith Barry who is also a Brand Ambassador for Kearys.

Kearys’ sponsorship supports the Cork Senior, Intermediate, Minor and U16 camogie teams for the next two years, as well as getting involved with both Under 16 and Under 14 Club Championships.

In 2022, the Cork Senior and Intermediate teams won Munster titles, and the Minor and Under 16 teams won All-Ireland and Munster titles. Cork Camogie were beaten by a point by Kilkenny in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Final and by Galway in the All-Ireland Intermediate Final. Cork Camogie are out of the blocks, training harder than ever and with much mental resilience, as they aim for League and Championship wins in 2023.

The Cork Senior Camogie team have since the turn of the century competed annually at the Senior semi-final stage [22 appearances], went on to compete in 17 finals and winning 9 Senior titles - bringing the tally to 28 senior All Ireland titles, making Cork the most decorated camogie team of all time.

 

The Cork Camogie Senior Team is managed by Matthew Twomey [Douglas] and coached by Liam Cronin.

The Intermediate team is Managed by Trevor Coleman [Na Piarsaigh] and coached by Ken Bulman. The Minor team is Managed by Jerry Wallace [Midleton] and coached by Michael Boland and Mossie O’Sullivan.

The Under 16 team is Managed by John Moloney [Newtownshandrum] and coached by Mark Kavanagh, John Brosnan and Brendan O’Driscoll.
