Design
Big, bold and beautiful, Santa Fe is not for the faint heart. Built to command the road, it also commands a lot of attention. Its wide stance and completely reimagined design will have heads turning.
The full LED Headlamps are standard equipment and feature unique T-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights that catch the eye in an instant.
The new taillight design features horizontally-stretched graphics connected with a red reflector band to visually reinforce the width of the body.
Get inside Santa Fe's roomy interior and you'll feel it instantly: More space, more comfort, and more convenience compared to the previous model. Experience is a new level of luxury with every component finished in premium soft-touch materials or fine leather. And for the first time in a Hyundai vehicle, Santa Fe also offers an optional Luxury Package for an even more sophisticated feel.

You can slide the 40/20/40 split-folding second-row seats to fit both passengers and cargo with ease. A simple push of a button is all it takes to slide the 2nd seat row up and out of the way for easy entry to the back row of seats. Santa Fe’s 8-way adjustable power front seats let you perfectly fine-tune your position.

A free five-year subscription to Hyundai’s LIVE Services is included with the 10.25” big screen navigation system.

Enjoy more efficiency with more power. Santa Fe features a completely new engine line-up with the new “R” diesel with lower CO2 emissions, and is the first Hyundai in Europe to go on sale with the new plug-in hybrid powertrain.
Bad weather? Hairpin curves? No problem. Santa Fe is available with the innovative HTRAC™ All-Wheel Drive system for optimum handling and cornering performance – which makes driving slippery city streets and bumpy country roads safer and much more relaxed.

Snow or sand? Sport or Eco? You choose. You can easily switch drive modes to suit conditions – and your mood! Select Sport mode for enhanced performance with modified throttle response, shift points and steering effort. Eco mode delivers peak fuel efficiency with modified acceleration, shift points and air conditioning performance. Select Comfort mode for regular performance with good efficiency.
Santa Fe is based on the All-New third-generation Hyundai vehicle platform, which allows for significant improvements in performance, handling, fuel efficiency and safety.
Lower emissions, but with more power. New state-of-the-art plug-in hybrid powertrain help you lower your CO2 emissions and burn less fuel.
The plug-in hybrid version, available in early 2021, is powered by the new 1.6-litre T-GDi ‘SmartStream’ turbocharged petrol direct injection engine paired with a 66.9 kW electric motor, which draws its power from a 13.8 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery. This variant will be available with four-wheel drive. The total power output is 265 PS
The four-cylinder ‘SmartStream’ diesel engine produces 202 PS and 440 Nm torque and is available with two or four-wheel drive. The new engine block consists of aluminum instead of steel, for a weight reduction of 19.5 kg. Many other components have been improved as well, leading to better fuel efficiency. Furthermore, it has been equipped with a new 2,200 bar injection system for improved overall engine performance.
Safety
New state-of-the-art Hyundai SmartSense safety features and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems like Highway Drive Assist bring Santa Fe in line with competitors from the premium class.
Santa Fe features Lane Following Assist (LFA). When activated, it keeps the car centred in its lane at speeds between 0 and 200 km/h on motorways and city streets.
Using radar sensors in the lower rear bumper and front camera, the system warns you of traffic in the blind spot area. Should you set the turn indicator in such a situation, it will sound an acoustic alert and brake to prevent collision.
The FCA system automatically brakes when it detects sudden braking by the car ahead or detects pedestrians or cyclists in your path.
