The look
Featuring a stand out design with a robust, yet compact SUV profile, Hyundai’s new INSTER will make its global debut in late June during the Busan International Mobility Show. With its bold wheel arches, distinctive LED lighting, SUV-styling and higher ride height – this electric city car will soon have heads turning all across Europe.
INSTER catches the eye with its bold wheel arches, flush, clean surfaces and strong SUV styling. Circuit board-style bumpers and bold skid plates make a strong statement in the front and rear.
INSTER’s personality shines through in its signature LED daytime running lights and pixel-graphic turn signals and tail lamps – a design element shared with other members of the Hyundai EV family.
Interior
With its dimensions, INSTER is positioned squarely between traditional A-segment city cars and larger B-segment models. This gives you the manoeuvrability and higher seating position that you expect from a small SUV, but with enhanced practicality and flexibility thanks to a more spacious interior and improved luggage capacity.
In its sleek cockpit, INSTER provides enhanced technology and convenience with a brilliant 10.25” digital cluster and a 10.25” infotainment touchscreen with navigation.
The wireless charging dock is integrated into the compact centre console, which has been designed to create a greater sense of spaciousness.
Performance
Available with top of the range EV features like Vehicle-to-Load technology, the new INSTER can be equipped with a choice of a 42 kWh battery or a Long-Range 49 kWh battery. Both models are powered by a single motor that delivers 71.1 kW (97 PS) in the base variant and 84.5 kW (115 PS) in the Long-Range car.

Delivering a segment-leading all-electric driving range of 355 km (WLTP) on a single charge, INSTER is redefining what is possible from a small urban EV.
INSTER can charge from 10 to 80 percent in around 30 minutes using a 120 kW DC charging station. It also comes equipped with an 11 kW on-board charger so you can charge at home overnight.
