Forget everything you remember about the original BMW i3. The all-new BMW i3 is a completely different proposition.
This new-generation electric saloon brings the familiar character of the BMW 3 Series into the electric era, with a sleek new design and BMW's latest Neue Klasse technology.
The exterior introduces BMW's new design language, including its distinctive illuminated kidney grille, modern light signature and clean, purposeful lines.
Inside, the focus is on creating a more immersive and intuitive driving experience. One of the standout innovations is BMW Panoramic Vision, which projects important information across the lower section of the windscreen, helping drivers keep their attention focused on the road.
The new BMW Operating System X also brings a more intelligent and personalised digital experience to the cabin.
Up to 906km of Electric Range
One of the most exciting aspects of the new BMW i3 is its impressive range.
The BMW i3 50 xDrive is expected to offer an official WLTP range of up to 906km, giving drivers the freedom to travel further between charges.
With BMW's latest-generation electric technology, the i3 is designed to deliver the practicality expected from a premium saloon while maintaining the engaging driving experience that BMW is known for.
Fast Charging for Modern Journeys
The new BMW i3 also introduces BMW's latest Gen6 eDrive technology and an 800-volt electrical architecture.
With compatible charging infrastructure, the i3 can support DC charging of up to 400kW, with BMW stating that up to 400km of range can be added in around 10 minutes under suitable conditions.
That means less time waiting to charge and more time enjoying the road.
