Requirements of a Car Mechanic / Vehicle Motor Technician

  • Prior experience in a similar role.
  • Qualified Car Mechanic / Vehicle Motor Technician.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Full, clean driving licence.

Responsibilities of a Car Mechanic / Vehicle Motor Technician

  • Attend internal and external training courses, as directed by management.
  • Keep the place of work tidy and in a clean condition.
  • Advise the Workshop Foreman or Service Adviser of any additional work necessary on a car during a service.
  • Be prepared to work overtime, with reasonable notice, if requested by the management.
  • Ensure that the vehicles worked on are carefully handled and that all reasonable care is taken of that vehicle on the premises for repair or service.
  • Maintain and develop skill levels in all aspects of repair, service and maintenance of vehicles.
  • Make full use of Special Tools, Service Test, Service Equipment and training as provided to improve customer service levels and workshop efficiency.
  • Maintain thorough and current Product Knowledge and read all Service Information and Service News bulletins as supplied by Service Management.

Marketing Executive

Marketing Executive – Cork based

Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager and Head of Digital, Kearys requires a full-time Marketing Executive to join its marketing team, based in Cork.

Key responsibilities:

  • Creating, managing and measuring digital and traditional marketing campaigns for above dealerships across a number of platforms.
  • Booking press and radio campaigns and creating assets for these.
  • Liaising with Manufacturers and stakeholders.
  • Brand compliance and reporting.
  • Updating website(s) on a continual basis.
  • Social media / Lead Generation campaigns and advertising.
  • Email marketing and reporting.
  • Event Management.
  • Sponsorship Management.
  • Account Management, budgeting and monthly reporting.
  • Monitor competitor activity and conduct analysis of direct and indirect competitors.
  • Liaise with 3rd Parties such as Graphic Designers to manage deadlines.
  • Creation of engaging content in various formats for website and social media channels.
  • Other ad hoc duties as they arise.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role with a proven track record.
  • Relevant 3rd level qualification.
  • Strong digital marketing skills to include web CMS, social media platforms, Microsoft office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – copywriting and editing.
  • Videography and Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop in particular) an advantage.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work on own initiative.

Working as part of a larger sales team, the Sales Executives will be responsible for maintaining showroom standards and working closely with Senior Sales Executives, with customer satisfaction always the main focal point.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for new and used car displays.
  • Develop and maintain a full knowledge of all products, accessories and key features.
  • Be responsible for the preparation of all new and used vehicles prior to handover.

Automotive Service Technician

Location: Cork

Payment: DOE

Terms: Permanent | Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out work provided competently and within the times laid down by the Flat Rate Manual, or to time acceptable by Foreman if hourly work, or factory times not available.
  • Ensure that times are recorded as requested by management.
  • Attend internal and external training courses, as directed by management.
  • Keep the place of work tidy and in a clean condition.
  • Advise the Workshop Foreman or Service Adviser of any additional work necessary on a car during a service.
  • Ensure parts of Warranty Claims are retained and are cleaned out and drained of oil, where necessary.
  • Ensure exchange parts are returned to Parts Department when required.
  • Be prepared to work overtime, with reasonable notice, if requested by the management.
  • Ensure that the vehicles worked on are carefully handled and that all reasonable care is taken of that vehicle on the premises for repair or service.
  • Maintain and develop skill levels in all aspects of repair, service and maintenance of vehicles.
  • Make full use of Special Tools, Service Test, Service Equipment and training as provided to improve customer service levels and workshop efficiency.
